Wednesday Night Fishing-July 27th @ 6:00

It has been a couple of years since the Wednesday Night Fishing group fished at Island Park in Niles, MI.  So, this week lets go to Island Park in Niles, MI.

Directions:

Island Park is located South of Grant St. in Niles, MI., on the west side of the St. Joseph River. Parking is on Parkway St. between Grant St. and French St. There is a foot bridge that will take you to the island.

Wednesday Night Fishing-July 20th, 2016 @ 6:00

This week we will be fishing on the St. Joseph River  at Kamm’s Island in Mishawaka, IN.  The best place to park is at Immigrant Park (Ironworks) on the south side of the river  west of Main St.

DIRECTIONS: Main St. to front St. (south side of the St. Joseph River) then west to parking lot (in front of new suspension foot bridge). from there you can access the east end of Kamm’s Island or fish the river between Main St. and Kamm’s Island.

Hey All,

This week we will be fishing In Elkhart on the St. Joseph River . We will be meeting in Elkhart, In. at Beardsley Park which is located on the south east corner of the Main St. and Beardsley Ave. intersection  and will fish the Island Park area. Maybe afterwards, slipping over to Iechyd Da (Elkhart’s only brewery) for a pint or two

Wednesday Night Fishing- June 15th, 2016 @ 6:00

Hey all,

This week we are going to fish on the Dowagiac Creek at Griffis Rd.  in Cassopolis, MI.

Directions can be a little tricky as I do not have an address for you to plug into a GPS. So, here are the “old school” directions from downtown Cassopolis, MI. go one block east on M-60 to Okeefe Rd then north 4 miles to Kelsey Lake Rd. Turn right (east) on Kelsey Lake Rd and take it 1 mile to Griffis Rd. Turn left (north) on Griffis Rd and go 1.5 miles to where Griffis Rd crosses over the Dowagiac Creek. Park along the side of the road.

Wednesday Night Fishing- June 8th @ 6:00 pm

Hey All,

This week we will be fishing on the Little Elkhart River in Middlebury, IN. at Riverbend Park from 6:00 to ?.

Direction: from the Indiana Toll Road- Middlebury exit (State Road 13) take State Road 13 south to Middlebury. Once in Middlebury turn east on Warren St. and follow to where Warren St. crosses over the Little Elkhart River. After crossing over the river, Riverbend Park will be on the south side of Warren St. on the East side of the Little Elkhart River.

Wednesday Night Fishing this week will be at Dodd Park in Dowagiac, MI. Dodd Park in Dowagiac MI (map). at 6:00 P.M. to ?

Directions:

From Niles, MI. take M-51 north to Kinzie St. Left (East) on Kinzie to Creek Rd. Right (North) on Creek Rd. to  Dodd Park.

From the Edwardsburg, MI. take Dailey Rd. North to White St. Left (East) on White St. to Anderson Rd. Left (South) on Anderson Rd to White St. Right (East) on White St to M-51. Left (South) on M-51 to Kinzie St. Right(East) on Kinzie St to Creek Rd. Right (North) on Creek Rd to Dodd Park.

Hey All,

This weeks Wednesday Night Fishing will be at Bill Westrate’s property on Dowagiac Creek from 6:00 P.M. to ? Bill Westrate’s address is 21406 McKinzie Rd, Cassopolis, MI. (map)

Directions: From downtown Cassopolis, MI. take M-60 East to Decatur Rd. Turn left (north) on Decatur Rd and take to McKinzie Rd. Turn Left (West) on McKinzie Rd. Take McKinzie approximately 1/2 mile to where it crosses the Dowagiac Creek. Parking is on the west side of the creek and on the north side of the road.
