DESCRIPTION:CASTING CLINIC June 10\nThe Saint Joseph River Valley Fly Fishers will conduct a casting clinic on June 10 from 11:00 a.m.\nto 1:00 p.m. on the Gridiron Plaza in downtown South Bend. The clinic is free and open to anyone\naged 10 years and older.\nClub members will be on hand to teach newcomers the basics of fly casting and offer advanced\ntechniques to experienced anglers.\n“The importance of learning how to fly cast is of great benefit to fly fishers of all ability levels\,”\nSJRVFF President Todd Ezzell said. “It is at the heart of fly fishing and can make a great\ndifference in catching or not catching fish.”\nA handful of local fishermen founded the SJRVFF in 1978 along the banks of the Saint Joseph\nRiver. The club is committed to public education programs and conservation projects that promote\nstewardship of environmental resources.
